These terms cover how kerrpoint works, what we charge, and what we expect from the people who use the platform.
By using kerrpoint you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
kerrpoint is a property platform. We list apartments, compounds, houses, land, offices and cars, and we connect the people who own them with the people who want to rent or buy them.
kerrpoint charges differently depending on the type of property.
We do not charge owners a percentage commission on rental bookings. Instead we add a percentage service fee on top of the rental price. The owner's listed price stays as it is, and the service fee is added separately to what the client pays at checkout.
For purchases we apply a percentage commission to the transaction. The rate can vary by property and by transaction, and it determines what kerrpoint earns from the sale.
When a client pays through kerrpoint, we handle the payment process so the money is held properly until the booking or transaction is complete.
Pay through the official kerrpoint payment process. We are not responsible for money paid directly to a property owner outside the platform.
If you pay for a booking or service that becomes unavailable, and neither kerrpoint nor the owner can provide it at the agreed time, you may be entitled to a refund. We will help you through the refund process where that applies.
An owner who cancels a confirmed booking close to the check-in date may be charged a D200 service fee. The fee covers the disruption caused to the client. Where we can, we will also help the client find another property or process a refund.
Whether a refund applies, and how much, depends on the circumstances of the cancellation, the payment status and the booking terms. The operational detail is in our Terms & Conditions.
By listing a property on kerrpoint you allow us to use its photos, description, location, features, pricing and other listing details to promote it on our website, on social media, in advertising and through other marketing channels.
We may reformat or edit listing content for promotion as long as it stays accurate. This permission lasts while the property is listed, and briefly after it is removed so campaigns already running can finish.
If you list a property, you are responsible for making sure that:
We may suspend, restrict or remove listings that break our rules or harm clients.
Owners are not paid the moment a client pays. kerrpoint settles earnings through a payout system: after a successful transaction we verify the payment and the conditions attached to it before releasing what the owner is owed.
For apartment and car rental bookings, the payout is based on the original rental price and excludes the service fee charged separately to the client. For purchases, the payout is what remains after the applicable kerrpoint commission and any other transaction charges.
Payouts can depend on the booking being completed, on cancellation periods, verification, disputes and refunds. You can see your earnings and payout status in your dashboard where that information is available.
The kerrpoint name, logo, design, text and code belong to kerrpoint and are protected by intellectual property law. Do not reproduce or distribute them without our written permission.
kerrpoint is provided as it is. We cannot guarantee that the platform will always be available, and we do not guarantee the quality or accuracy of any listed property. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, or for disputes between owners and clients that happen outside it.
We may update these terms. If you keep using the platform after a change is posted, you accept the updated terms.
